I Cipressi is a family-run winery with roots deeply anchored in both Southern Italy and Tuscany. The story began in the early 1960s when the Frangiosa family moved from Campania to Montepulciano, Tuscany. In 1995, Luigi Frangiosa founded “I Cipressi” winery. Since then, the winery has grown and expanded.

At the heart of I Cipressi is the Frangiosa family, whose dedication and passion have shaped the winery’s identity. Luigi and Manuel are the future of I Cipressi. With a deep respect for tradition and a fresh perspective on winemaking.

They believe that great wine begins in the vineyard, and their approach is rooted in respecting the land and its natural rhythms. By practicing organic farming, they preserve soil, protect local biodiversity, and enhance the authentic character of their grapes.

NEUS:De geur is complex en elegant met bloemige tonen en subtiele hints van rijpe pruimen en bessen; het bouquet wordt aangevuld met vleugjes tabak, leer en donkere kruiden.

 

IN DE MOND: De wijn is vol van smaak met compacte en soepele tannines die zorgen voor een rijke en langdurige afdronk.

 

RIJPING: 24 maanden in Slavonische eikenhouten vaten 

 

PAST BIJ: Deze wijn combineert perfect met rood vlees, zoals Florentijnse biefstuk, gegrild en gebraden vlees.
